Herniated Disc

We have all heard the horror stories. You are living your life, doing nothing out of the norm, you bend over and POP, you throw out your back. What just happened and how do you fix it? Dr. Sergey from the Amazing Life Chiropractic and Wellness explains!

What is it?

Chances are, you herniated your disc. The disc is the jelly like substance that sits in between your vertebrae. Under pressure, it can herniate and press on your nerves which can bring the onslaught of numbness, tingling, and extreme discomfort in your back. The movement required doesn’t need to be drastic and often times can happen with regular, day to day movement.

How to Fix It

Using a Lumbar Belt to correct posture can alleviate pain. Another method that you can try is a spinal decompression table and flexion distraction tables with utilized negative pressure to allow the disc to go back into its original position.
